I know some say Mossad, although are they military? Or more CIAish?

For my money, Navy Seals are the cream de la creme.

1st SFOD-D, more commonly known as Delta Force. They even poach Seals from Devgru.
Oh that’s right, Delta pulls in from all services right?

What’s Devgru? Thanks man.

Not a military expert, and not saying SEALs aren't badass, but they've also gotten more celebrity than others.

Also mossad is more like the Cia. Shayetet 13 is Israel's version of seals.
Yeah, SEALs have gotten a lot of pub but it’s because they have been kicking ***. I think I said mossad was more like our CIA didn’t I? Never heard of the Shayetet, Israelis don’t f around.

SAS or SFOD-D; Navy SEALs are the prima donnas of the special forces world from everything I've read (which isn't to say they're not elite as well).

I think there is different levels of elite among Seal Teams.
SEAL Team 6 is the elite of the Seal teams.

JSOC sent SEAL Team 6 after BinLaden for a reason.

Baddest of them all is the new twink trans battalion being set up by the Pedo in Charge. Don't think so? You try a 24 hour ruck in highheels!

I spent hours playing with Army men when I was a kid. I'd meticulously set up battlefields and then start taking them out. It was the Americans in green vs the Germans in gray. Guess who always won?
what american boy hasn’t? Though i’m sure it’s only a matter of time before army men are cancelled. Y’know for being racist or whatever the ****.

I don't want the Seals or the SBS after me.

Watch the boat drive onto the helicopter.

A guy in my hometown who was small in physical size and a bit, let’s just say different.

After he passed away, it came out that he was a tunnel rat. I do not know the validity-but it would explain why some of the older vets always seemed to look out for him.

Always a nice guy. I cannot even began to imagine. 😟

Question has been asked for over a century if not longer. These "operators" (English term) represent the best of the best. Civilized nations fund and support such units. SEALs, Green Beret, SAS, SBS, GSG9, etc., etc.

In this current day and age, all of them are. Glamorization aside, I highly doubt we'll ever know who or which may ever come forward and lay claim to such honors.

But at the end of the day, they know. And they are not discussing the subject.

Wasn’t there a “show” on HC maybe? About comparing these combat units? Deadliest Warrior maybe?

The reason I posted this thread was a just rewatched Captain Phillips and what that Seal Team did, I doubt could be replicated.

We would have 2 of us playing. Each would setup their army men on their side and we took turns lighting lady fingers (small firecrackers if you didn't know) and threw them at the other person's army. You kept going until one side had no men left standing. Fun times.

And airborne are badasses right? I know they were the **** in WW2.
Other people have told me they were and I'd like to think so. In the 50's, my dad was in the 101st but turned down Ranger school and left the military when I was born.

It’s a fact. Them dudes were the first of the kind, for Americans. They got $50 bucks extra a month, so a lot signed up, not knowing what they were getting into. Regardless, they ducked them nazis up.

paratroopers aren’t used a lot anymore, but they’re still around. They were instrumental in the invasion of france though. Absolute badasses. Jumping out of planes in the dark while getting shot at from flak guns.
