They are increasingly weird up there. It's still a gorgeous state, but I find the current residents to be generally undesirable / not like me.

Enjoy the break from the heat and high humidity. The rest is (I hope) just minor noise/issues/distractions.

Isn't the mosquito the Minnesota state bird?
in Wisconsin we had drought conditions past 2 years and mosquito eggs built up, the scientists call it the "egg bank". This year been very wet with lots of rain, all that rain comes from Minnesota. But as a result mosquitos been brutal this summer. Almost left fireworks before they were launched due to mosquitos

Lindstrom. Neat little town,

I'm born and raised in S Florida, kinda like heat and humidity, that said, Minny really is a beautiful state,
Here’s my Lindstrom story. Years ago I represented a new home owner there. He lived in the middle of his block. Lindstrom hit him with an assessment as the city was switching his street from gravel to asphalt. We appealed the amount. We had an expert that would testify that that the value of his home would not increase by the amount of the assessment. That’s the rule. On the day of trial, the city changed the project so that the street would only be paved partway in on both sides so the area in front of his house would remain gravel. His neighbors were not pleased. I knew a local TV reporter and she did a story on it. The reporter used a wheelchair. Great video of her cruising down a smooth street until she got to my guy’s house. Bumpy as hell for 40’ then smooth sailing…..Ending - title company screwed up so they paid the assessment. Street got completely paved. My client moved back to St. Paul…..Every time I drive through that *** backwards town I think of this story.

Moving water.

Try to find locations with fountains waterfalls moving rivers etc. Mosquiots don't like moving water.

DisneyWorld does not have a mosquito issue because of all the moving water.

At least you won't struggle to find a tampon if you need one
Luckily, neither does this board, now that you are here.

Huh? I thought sub-zero temperatures killed mosquito eggs? I guess mosquitos are like termites and cockroaches.....immune to anything humankind can throw at them.
