Baker will give it his all but bronchitis can kick your ***. Fatigue and just breathing will probably be an issue tomorrow afternoon. I love Baker but if his play isn’t enough to win the game because he becomes too weak, I don’t want Riley to do what Stoops did when we were playing LSU for the natty. Pull the Heisman winner and insert Murray if only for a series or two before the game gets out of hand. Baker, with a little rest, can always come back. Hopefully Baker will be at least 80%-90% for the Rose, and if so I believe he can be effective and even get us a pretty good lead as long as the defense doesn’t play like it did during the middle of the season. Do whatever is necessary to win tomorrow. There is another game waiting and another week for Baker to get back to 100%. Boomer!

Well, excuse me, but we both know that's horseshit. If not, we're in deep trouble even with a healthy Baker.

I think folks will be surprised how stout we can be in our run defense. Sure, they'll get some yards and some big runs, but OU's D will get them into some third-and-long situations that they won't be able to convert, giving the ball right back to the Sooners and giving us opportunities to score.

Relax Sooner brethren. Anyone remember Michael Jordan playing one of his best games ever when he had a bad case of the flu? I forget what year but I watched that game and he kicked ***.
We are talking about JFW here. Baker would have to be near death to be kept out of this game.

I heard they have transfused/replaced all Baker's blood with corpuscles from Bart Star, Joe Montana, Namath, Jordan, and every other possible donor possible in existence so all is well...
They were talking about doing a lung transplant using the lungs from Johnny Unitas. I convinced them that was a bad idea since Unitas has been dead for 15 years.

Last I heard they got that voodoo lady Mobu from Weekend at Bernie's 2 to come to Pasadena just in case.
