Re: Washington Post

Their fans are as soft as their team. Incredible considering they live in such a crime ridden area.

No mention that he was kicked in the head by a teamate

And, that no WVU player was near him when he jumped for a pass and fell on the floor. BTW, the Adrian block was incidental which is why the officials (for once) didn't call a foul. Noticed too that no mention in either article of Melo's early self inflicted slam to the floor on a layup.
He's a gifted athlete who played hard and got some knocks. It happens.

"'I think you've got to give West Virginia credit. They were terrific,' coach Mark Turgeon said of the Mountaineers, whose large contingent of fans made it sound as if the game was being played in Morgantown."

I agree..... Tough kid and aggressive.

The first tumble he jumped up and turned sideways as he flung himself forward.
He was out of control and was lucky a mountaineer touched him so he could get the call.

The second was part of the game.

The third he wasn't even near a mountaineer.

Sorry for the repeat....I agree with your analysis

Re: Washington Post

Playing in the ACC for so long turned them into pussies. Hopefully B10 will toughen them up....
