Barker is Horriffic

Fans lamented for this...even after the UL debacle for Barker...Now he's all we've got for quite a while at QB.
He'll get better, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Just hate to see what could've been a solid team turn to this.

Oh my God. What the hell is Barker supposed to do? He can't block, tackle, and kick. He's constantly on his back. His team sucks and his coaches suck more.
He's not the problem,. Boom isn't the problem. It's the rest of these guys and our coaching staff.

UK is going to lose regardless of Barker's play...but he's been a mess today...make no mistake.
1. The int was way underthrown.
2. The odd slant route on the goalline was all on QB.
3. The last int was a great play by Tabor...but given UF DB were at LOS...why throw it?
He is a mess because this Oline is one and has been for 4 years now.
Barker had a TD pass wide OPEN with 2 receivers and he couldn't hit either of them and threw it into the dirt.
He has been awful.
Do you know how bad towels would be right now? The guy couldn't hit a target 3 feet in front of him. Barker is young and rattled becuause he's getting no blocking and his team is horrid. Tom Brady couldn't help this catastrophe.
Meanwhile, Del Rio looking like Brady.....The guy throws perfect long balls, he doesn't stare down his receivers, etc. etc.
This team has no clue in any phase of the game. All 3 phases suck..This is flat out embarrassing.
He just needs more time guys. In Mitch's words it takes at least 6-10 years to see progress when you inherited the dumpster fire that Stoops did. I mean we were practically MAC level when he got here, that's why we lost to WKU in his first game. We're going to get a new OC and DC in the offseason and they'll recruit Ohio like a bunch of madmen and get this thing straightened out. #STOOPSTROOPS
He sure looked good when he had more time to throw last week. Don't think he's the problem guys. Just like Towles wasn't last year.
I for one find this comical. If your not going to be good then at least be bad. We are very good at that. Pulling for full implosion!!!!
I haven't watched even a second of the game today, I gave this game up several years ago. I did it for 25 years and know the results all too well.
In saying that, I still like Stoops and I like the personnel on the offensive side of the ball, with the exception of Schlarmann. The defense is an absolute joke and isn't getting any better, unfortunately. Barnhart hired an inexperienced HC again, so he's not out of this either. Because of this, Stoops probably gets more time if he fires his DC definitely and both line coaches. Unfortunately, he is learning on the job and that part just comes with it
Again, the answer is to hire a proven, successful head coach. However if Barnhart obviously isn't willing to do that, then we go through these types of growing pains, if you can even call them that.
I'm to the point that we've done everything else we can possibly do, except keep a coach long term. Keep Stoops if makes the necessary changes and hires experienced, successful coaches for those positions. Fire Stoops if not and send Barnhart out with them. For the life of me, I still can't figure out why Barnhart still has a job.
Stoops had no idea that he would fail as a head coach. His brother failed at Arizona and that should have been a clue.
This is exactly what the pro Towles people were trying to tell you all last year. It's pretty clear the Towles people were right.
Correction, coaching is horrific. I really don't think this is on our players.
Towles had a pretty good day during his first time at the swamp. More interesting is that his team beat the team that Florida beat last week by more points today.
I'm sure it was a fluke.
Towels couldn't hit a target at all. Barker has already shown the ability to do that with time. Towels was absolutely terrible.
