We are up on this team so badly that Barker needs to start throwing the ball. It does him NO good to just hand it off to the RB's every down. This should be prime time for Barker to throw the ball regardless of how accurate it is. Still scratching my head at our OC and the plays he is calling even at this point.

If another team was throwing the ball with the score this lopsided against Kentucky you would be rasing hell.
It would depend on what team we were playing. We are trying to break in a QB, you throw the ball in order for that to happen.
15-of-29 for 129 yards, zero TD's and one botched handoff. He'll definitely have to step it up quite a few notches next week. Really, really sporadic with quite a few questionable decisions
He's only a Freshman. You can't compare him to Towles. In saying that, he does need experience
We used to call the ole ball coach classless when he did that to UK.
Very true, but Barker didn't throw for a TD all game. I just think he needs to work on HIS game, not our running game in situations like that
Has absolutely NOTHING to do with class. I thought they should've thrown it after they were up by 20-30
And didn't throw an interception either, that's what matters to me about HIS game.
I understand, but he can't throw an interception if he doesn't throw the ball.
Temperature, wind and snow could also be factors for not letting him air it out more. Those conditions were more likely to result in something negative happening.

Just a weird 2nd half or he would have passed more. We had a pick 6 and another short field where Jojo scored on the first down run. Running backs were seeing huge holes open that resulted in alot of short field situations. Just not many opportunities to throw down field with how the wind was blowing. But stupid people see what they want to see and not what is actually happening.

Maybe the cats have been showcasing the wrong skill set all year. Run a little more, pass a little less? Balance goes a long way in a successful offense. RB"S looked like the most dominate skill players on the field.
This might be how he's going to have to be used in the next game, so you practice that way tonight. Isn't that what you use a game like this for?
No way. Louisville is garbage and is just as bad as UK. I think because it's at home, Kentucky by 7-10
Very true. However, that type of game won't win many SEC games unfortunately. That's all I'm saying.
I'd have to disagree big time with that, the run game is the most important part of SEC offenses.
