Great addition to bolster what is going to be a solid running back corps. Sawchuk and Barnes are elite backs.

I'd like to see Major get a lot more playing time. He has had really games in our last 2 bowls but has rarely seen the field during the regular season. Looks big, powerful, and also has some wiggle

Agree. Major was mysteriously benched after returning mid-season last year by Riley (only 5 carries).
He is the main reason I feel good about the RB corps.....and Gray's best game as a Sooner vs Oregon was a very good sign of what he can do.

I still think Gray would be better as a slot receiver. I think getting him in space is his\our best option. Between the tackles...not so much.

From what I saw against Oregon, Gray should provide several options. I wasn't too impressed with him during the regular season, but he looked great in the bowl game.

I think the regular season is the better gauge in this instance. Oregon was heavily depleted. That said, Lebby\Bedenbaugh may introduce different blocking schemes and are likely to be more run oriented than Muleshoe.

Lets just hope he isn't returning punts in the future

Yes agree...our run game will only get stronger with DeMarco having more inputs to Lebby on the play calls. Get back to Sooner 8-10 yards a pop. Can’t hurt getting a strong blocker from Mizzou.
