I like at the end how he changes patience to steadfast. He's right, and I think at least a small part of him knew saying patience over and over would get the fans more up in arms. Is there a more patient fan base out there? Lol

Mitch has shown time and again he believes in respecting the process and letting coaches get the job done over the long term. That works great in the smaller sports but football, basketball, and even baseball are high priority spotlight sports.

Personally I don't care about the stadium fan amenities. Spend that money on improving the players' facilities even further. I don't go to Commonwealth to sit in a la - z - boy and eat nachos, I go to watch football. Winning games brings in more money which means we can then address all the other piddly things people want to complain about. Giving the staff and players the financial backing to get things done is what it takes to win, and winning will beget even more $ which can then be reinvested into upgrades. It's not rocket science.

A whole lot riding on the Gran/Hinshaw/Barker combination. The O-line should be good enough to compete this year. We have a secondary that can make plays but we also are going to need Ware to be a legitimate pass rush threat and Courtney Love to be a solid linebacker from day 1. There's no denying the talent upgrade on our roster it's just time to break down that door.

All fine and dandy, but mitch should have thought about this about 14 years ago.
