Take the ball out under their own basket, guy dribbles to half court, sees the defender coming over to foul and heaves it. Unlike Barney, he missed the shot but they said he was in the act of shooting and gave him 3 foul shots.

Still a pretty good stretch. And potentially leading to better things to come. This year was disappointing for sure but with what is coming in and stability in the program, better place than we have been. Biggest thing is we are actually starting to have an identityIt will be a while before I forget how the past 12 months played out for NU hoops, starting with Ty’s injury vs Nebby (I am glad he still has his meniscus). Terrible injury luck and questionable and unfavorable officiating has altered what would have been our greatest 3 year stretch. It’s like someone had to remind me us that we cannot have nice things.
