Sanders Jr. will graduate from Stanford in June then transfer to Okie State and play his senior season there in 2016. He should help the Cowboys even though he didn't really excel at Stanford. Last season he averaged over 6 yards a carry, but was playing behind, IMO, the best running back in college football, Christian McCaffrey. So Coach Gundy, help is on its way.

Listen to the sports animal don't you? Lol

No, I don't and haven't for years, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night and watched ESPN this morning. Ha! Actually, I read Junior's tweet. "I will be joining the Oklahoma State football program following my graduation from Stanford in June".

I was listening to Pat Jones talk about Barry Sanders Junior as I read your post. He should be a good improvement for them

But it will not be easy for anybody to be a huge factor without going through spring practice.

Excellent point; however, more first year players excel at the running back position than most other positions. He is a veteran player so it's just a matter of learning the plays and getting his timing down. He will surely participate in the summer drills as well. Regardless and to your point, I don't anticipate Sanders to have a huge impact. Thus far he hasn't demonstrated that he is that type of player. But you never know.

Pass protection responsibilities are a little more complicated than that.

Oh come on, Plaino. The guy is intelligent enough to graduate with a degree from Stanford. If he isn't productive it won't be due to his inability to learn an Aggie playbook.
