Baseball broke their streak, won 1-0 at UIC last evening!

I saw last years team play before their unexpected run to the B1G finals and was amazed by their late season performance because the team really is talent deficient-hopefully Coach Allen can turn the program around

The new playing surface is quite good and the locker room and team facilities are so much better than in years gone by.

I am not sure NU Baseball is fully funded yet with regards to scholarships so a partial ride still means the family has a large financial responsibility

D1 Lacrosse faces similar problems but lacrosse has traditionally been played at affluent HSs so high tuition schools have remained competitive because families have been able to foot the bill. With the growth of lacrosse this is likely to change
