Baseball team is pitiful

Bad pitching + injuries to pitchers + poor clutch hitting = Disaster. Too many things to fix in a season. IMO he has one year to fix it or be gone.
Nah we did what basketball used to do. Get beat down on the daily and get lucky every now and again. Beating tx did nothing for Kingston or our team

We have a mediocre, boring coach. Still great facilities. Still a ton of potential. But the magic from 2010-2012 is completely gone. It’s a good job but it’s going to take a good coach to get this program back on track.
I thought Holbroke was boring but I can never even remember the name of our current coach.
For the old guys on here, Perry Como had more pizzazz than our last two baseball coaches.
The common thread to all our athletic misery is Ray T. Nothing changes until he is gone.
Nothing changes until the BOT allows the AD to do the job without their interference, regardless of who the AD is.
Many on here don't understand this has always been the way business is done at USC.
I know many hate him, and the very idea of it....but before his roots get too long in Knoxville I wish we would make a play for Vitello. I would say back the bus up. He's obviously a major coaching talent, and everyone knows it. We would have to pay through the nose....but we would have to pay even more in 5 years once he has a couple CWS runs. Not sure about any inter-conf. hiring stuff he has in his contract, but I would love to bolster our program and deflate another one....esp. one that is not a traditional power but you can see they have quickly replaced us in the East to legitimately compete with UF and Vandy as the top dogs in the SEC East and amongst the nation.
