I posted this story last year but I'll do it again because it's the coolest and I get so excited to share it.
As a duke fan in Texas, we all know that any duke team rarely comes over to this side of the states. I live in Odessa, and duke baseball came out to play texas tech in the super regionals in Lubbock which is a 2 hour drive. Tickets sold out without me even getting a chance to buy them. I tweeted at duke baseball to see if they could help me get tickets, and a random lady liked my tweet and started messaging me about hooking me up with some passes to the game. It turned out to be Chris Pollards wife, and my father and I were put on the Duke guest list to go see the game. Duke lost the series 2-1 but man was it awesome!!!

How do the Blue Devils look this year? What are our strengths? I recall we had a really good season last year.
Better start watching college because a strike is looming for MLB. Owners are finally wising up and not wanting to pay these ridiculous contracts anymore. Can't believe the players are crying about this. No more 8-10 year contracts for only 4-5 years of solid production.

Despite winning three of four last week, our national ranking did not improve. Already bested Richmond this week and have a three game series against Penn State this weekend in Florida. Probably have to get into the tough ACC schedule (and win!) before we get much more recognition. Pitching has been outstanding.

Dropped in rankings, as expected. Beat ECU today and take the series vs Louisville and we'll see what happens.
