The assembling of this roster. To only have 1 true point guard is just malpractice, especially when you spend $22 mill. We couldn't get into any sets in the second half. When UNC stopped turning the ball over, our ability to score was nonexistent. 10 minutes and you're 0-13 in that stretch, it's more than bad shooting. It's the inability to get the ball to people in their comfort zone.

The point guard thing is especially inexcusable because last season was ALSO derailed by being forced to play without a true point.

You’d think he would’ve learned his lesson from what we went through after Butler‘s injury last year. But, nope, instead gives us a roster only one injury away from falling into the same trap again.

And, sure enough, we didn’t even make it past the blue white game before that injury happened.

If only Pope had $22 million to work with, so he could bring in (2) $3 million level PG1’s to avoid this turn of events…

Oh, wait 😤

Yes. People keep saying Aberdeen was the backup point guard but he wasn't that at all for Florida last season. He was the backup 2.
Yep. Despite what some here have claimed, Aberdeen never played point at Florida, not even as a backup. Instead, when Clayton went out, Golden simply moved Martin (or Richard) to point. Aberdeen‘s minutes came exclusively at the wing spots there.

This is a whole new thing that he’s being expected to do this season.

He let Lewis and Perry walk. Pope can't sell his program or his vision to kids. He's the worst recruiter we have ever had and Hell, you're allowed to give them money now.

They were trapping us and we repeatedly missed the open man. Two on me, somebody's free.
If your man goes to double flash to the middle or an opening. Absolute clown show!!!! 🤡
