Tennessee beats Illinois by going full court to the basket with about 5 seconds left in the game. As I watched the replay several times I noticed that Illinois was playing straight man and nobody moved over to stop the player driving to the basket. How would you have set up the defense differently?

Seemed that Illinois was afraid to step in to stop the ball because they didn’t want to foul.
I guess that is it. Didn't see the game or know the skill set of the players, but it seems that one would normally try and trap the ball on a sideline to run some clock. Maybe a 1-3-1 or something, but I spent the night at home, not a Holiday Inn.
