When your allowed to push grab and punch its easier to go on a run. We need to find a second scorer.
Devries can't create his own shot, which is a problem. Hopefully they'll start playing Powell and Devries at the same time, gives us another perimeter shooter that could cause problems when teams lock down Tucker.

Powell was 0-6 yesterday. He doesn't exactly play defense or rebound.

The Louisville defender literally ran straight in to Tenner........and it's called moving screen. I mean that's smart by Louisville player, but still.....

1st half, refs allow physical play. Teams come out 2nd half, and suddenly it's being called differently. Yeah, that makes sense.

Really unfortunate to have a great game yesterday with good officiating to this. Very hard to watch. Refs should never be the dominant part of the game. For either team. Just unfortunate, but it happens and will several more times this season.

We have to find someone else other than Small. If we keep going to that offense, it will be a long year.

Had ball with chance to win. And we didn’t get a shot nor did we call a timeout. But we can blow our load on that one Ganesha win.

Tough loss but the free throw discrepancy was the difference in this one. Good one to learn and grow from but a shame the coach didn’t get Td up at some point to defend his players

Shame coach didn’t call a timeout with 10 seconds remaining and tied up to get organized. When it was apparent we weren’t prepared for the obvious that Louisville wasn’t going to switch off Small and we’re going to go with him with both guys. We acted shocked that was their plan.

DeVries didn't need to get a T.

Win tomorrow, 2-1 is a nice result. Team is still progressing. We need more players and inside players but we don't have them so that is a weakness that was exposed today.

They've battled tough down low every game except Pitt. The weakness that was exposed came from whistles as we got no calls. Watching Louisville was like watching a former Huggins coached team . Blood and elbows flying.

Hepburn made more foul shots, 14-17 , than WVU attempted, 9-12. Yes bad calls will be made but it's difficult when all those bad calls are one sided. That was difference in the game.

Still, we had the ball in a tied game and didn't get a shot. Needed to take our final timeout in that situation. I know some coaches let it play out in that situation, but it's usually in the final 10 seconds and face-paced. This was different. There was 30 seconds, and we were letting it tick on down......and once it became obvious (with about 7 seconds) that our offensive set was not going to work, he needed to take the timeout.

Devries already manned up and took blame for the loss unlike previous coaches we have had.

WVU led every category except rebounding and foul attempts. Call the game the same on both ends please.

This years staff is 100% better. They are actual coaches and not some film guy or a fan on the message boards.
