If only some quality teams like sPitt would show up, maybe Boston college or wake forest or miami or Georgia tech or nc state or.or maybe some strong teams like northwestern or Wisconsin or the suckeyes minnesota tough teams in conferences where rutgers gets ranked then the bbn if 12 could earn some respect with real depth
Hey turd this thread was about Baylor being the worst #1 I’ve ever seen with a touch of Big12 very overrated on this Big12 homer site. With that said you can whack off about the Big12 all ya like but make no mistake the Big Ten is superior to the Big12 as always in football and hoops. ACC is off this year but expect 8-10 Big Ten teams dancing this year. That conference is truly a meat grinder this year. Big12 probably has 5 teams in this year and only 2 or 3 are legit top 20.

Baylor so far is the only #1 team of 7 picked this season that hasn't lost as #1. Just saying. Big 12 is an awesome basketball and football conference. Dogfight every game. Every one plays every one. No dodging tough teams to make conference playoffs, like in the Big 10, SEC, ACC and Pac-12. Three cheers for the Big 12 and WVU's $50 million paycheck every year instead of $11 million!!!!
You're posting in circles, CFE. You praise Baylor for not losing as the No. 1 team, and follow this up with telling us that the Big 12 is great. If the Big 12 were such a meatgrinder, then wouldn't Baylor lose at least one conference game and drop in the rankings? Washington beat Baylor, but no Big 12 team has beaten Baylor so far. The Big 12 is good at the top, mediocre in the middle and bad at the bottom.

Baylor wins their games turd. Here's a question, how many players, scorers, shooters have to collapse and appear to suddenly lose ALL ability to shoot at all, how many and how consistently do entire teams have to revolt, before somebody admits maybe theres another problem other than just a generation, or that theres one common denominator on alot of those things. Like or dont like where the game heads or how it's called, have your principles of the game, fine, but adjust a little of higher people that can, or just keep wasting seasons

Crap happens. UVA came back the next year and won the National Title. Obviously UVA proved the team overall was good for several years.

In reality all you have to do is make the tournament. Basketball is not like football. You have a good season and have a high ranking it gets you a better seeding. You still have to win 6 games in the tourney and with the parity in college basketball you only have 1 or 2 easy games before things get difficult.
Well according to your way of thinking being mediocre is fine if it gets you enough wins to get into the ever bloated ncaa made for tv extravaganza. And the real tournament gets underway at the sweet 16 level after all those pesky filler teams get cast aside. I presume you also agree with the head scratching concept of a good loss for the old resume...huh?
They’re not legit #1s either. There are crap Big East teams littered inside the Top 20. San Diego St, Dayton and Butler are jokes in their ranking. Penn St, Seton Hall and Colorado LOL. This year is garbage hoops.

Yeah an all the teams that make the tourney have a chance to get to the sweet 16. I guess according to your thinking Basketball should be more like football and we anoint teams like Virginia a couple of years back to be automatic sweet 16 teams when they couldn't even win 1 game as a number 1 seed. We could have also have excluded that UConn team in 2013 that didn't even win its regular season conference championship or tournament championship but won the Ncaa championship. Its the reason people love the tourney and hate the way Collège football crowns a champion. Not to hard to understand.

You moved the goal posts. My point was and is that there aren’t any elite teams this year. Of course there’s gonna be a National Champion that wins 6 games in a row. I worry about how the markets would respond to certain election results. Or if China gets overrun by a virus. I don’t worry about anything here haha. This place is comic relief for me. I didn't move any goal posts you did. If the #1 team was from any other conference besides the big 12 you wouldn't have even bothered starting a thread. Another poster pointed out Michigan state. Weren't they number 1 earlier this year? Where are they now? FYI don't worry about how the markets react to china or election results. Any positive or negative results are only temporary.
