First of all, let me just say, as some who didn't grow up playing basketball I like watching a lot of technique breakdown. Especially by people who actually know what they're talking about. If you don't know this guy, he does a ton of NBA vids but did one for Duke vs MSU. I found it insightful. thought some of you might enjoy it as well. It was also interesting that there were two blatant jersey holds on Zion and Izzo almost completely on the court and all were uncalled. But hey, Duke gets all the calls.

Cant argue the bad spacing. RJ and Zion were double/tripple teamed all game.
Was it just bad offense or an inevitable result of poor outside shooting? Also seemed like we just didn't move the ball enough.

Yeah I watch a lot of this guys videos. Some are oversimplified at times, but overall theyre usually insightful and interesting. I really like his NBA breakdowns. At that level the guys are all so good it just looks like theyre winging it all the time, but when you study it, its actually extremely intricate.

Havent dived into the vid yet, but wanted to reference a point from OP: I did notice (and pointed out to my brother) watching Izzo on the court at the hashmark when we were on offense first half.

Also I know some have been extremely negative and blame the one point loss on K for poor spacing, too much iso ball, whatever. Funny didnt hear a lot of these same posters chime in w/complaints when we pulled out squeaker wins.

However the only thing I would say is I would have given Jordan a few minutes on Winston to show him a different look. Also it could have made Tre fresher at the end. Otherwise no complaints about the one point loss. If Barrett hits both FTs we likely force OT...

that was a great breakdown...def some defenses lapses....i missed that jersey hold zion by tillman, but look at the rest of the play when he sprinted out the break for the big dunk on javin, swear he took 3 steps...we should be playing Saturday guys, but hey, thats how it goes...

Yeah but they are usually a good secondary/transition team. You get beat there sometimes against teams like them and UNC. I remember the last they played us in the Champions Classic they beat us in transition a bunch that year too. We still won that game though.

Brutal breakdown. Surprised the game came down to the wire with us committing so many turnovers, mental breakdowns, poor free throw shooting and stale from the arc.

I think I like Texas Tech over Michigan State for that reason.
