Seriously though, he would be much higher on the all time great list if they could heal a knee back then the way they can now.
True. Gale Sayers played in just 68 NFL games. But what an amazing runner.
Had weathered many storms until that Perfect one came long.
Barry, Sweetness and Sayers were the most elusive backs I’ve ever seen.
