The Athletic reports that Scott Frost will be back for a fifth season with "a restructured contract." They note he would have been owed $20M if fired without cause.

They referred to, "the worst stretch of football since the modern era of the program began with the 1962 hiring of Bob Devaney."

They left out..."with a signature win/woodshed beating of Northwestern during this otherwise dark period."

How is this miserable?

If Fitz makes some changes and hits the transfer portal hard, we can avenge that debacle in Lincoln by destroying the Huskers in Dublin.

Frost is not a good coach. I like our odds if we make changes. Keep the faith!

The issue is mostly on the “if we make changes” part, in my opinion.

Fitz made a pretty big change after our last 3-9 season.

In Fitz We Trust! In corbi, we complain.
You are right, but I think all of us have scars from the umpteen other times he took forever to make a change that was obvious to everyone except him. Even Cushing left on his own, despite hilariously bad OL performance and development.

I think lessons learned from Cushing led to McCall’s rapid departure after 2019.

Fitz is many things, but he is not dumb.

I still don't understand how Cushing was hired away for a HEAD COACHING JOB. I 100% admit I am just a fan who knows nothing.

Oh wait...into his 3rd season he is 3-21 at EIU. So...maybe fans know what an expensive search firm couldn't figure out?
