Been on board for over 11 years now. My how time surely does fly by. There's been a lot of regulars leave during that time and a lot of new posters come aboard who aren't new any more. I've had the time of my life. I wish I could go back and see what I wrote on my 1st. one. I do remember it being awkward and there's been several awkward post since. I hope I have made some good ones also but the best thing is getting to know all of you. We certainly don't agree on everything but we are Duke fans and on that we are all on common ground. I try to not take it all too seriously and I hope all of you don't take me too seriously. I can't name all of you who have meant a lot to me but dirt has become a great friend. I have never met him but his positive attitude and his great ability to make us all laugh with his photo shop talents has me always looking forward to his post. May Heavenly Father bless him and his family. A lot of us have been through some tough times with sickness,family deaths and other issues and we shared them. I remember how we all reached out with our prayers and thoughts when Fear The Beard almost lost his wife. We have seen marriages, children born, grandchildren born and many joyful moments. In my 11 years on this board we have won two national championships, my son was married to an absolutely wonderful woman and all three of my grandchildren were born. Thanks to you all for the wonderful time I've had here. Keep posting and have fun. Pecker head and Heyman25 I miss both of you. OFC

I've been on DI for a little over 6 years and your post count makes me feel like I'm still a newbie. My post count is only about 8% of your post count. lol

Ok...I cant stand it anymore. I've tried to figure this out on my own. I thought I had it, but most of the time, what I thought doesn't make sense....Google was no help.....WHAT THE HELL IS "OFC"?????????? LOL!!! Of course? Open for comment? Octane for Cameron? Old farts comments? WHAT??????

I've enjoyed every minute of the ride you've brought me on, Sky! I've been on here almost 7 1/2 years, and lurked for quite awhile before I joined. And I never would have joined if it hadn't been for you, and Heyman. There were many other excellent posters, but you made me feel welcome from the get go. You can believe me when I say I never intended to post very often, but you got me involved by way of all your interesting posts and threads. I always had to see what else you came up with, and you never failed.

This board has sooooo many great posters (with their own unique qualities), and I enjoy reading and responding to them here on DI, but as almost everyone on here (including me) will testify to...you're the best. You bring so much to the table here at DI. I won't embarrass you by going down a long list of your good qualities, but your honesty, kindness, and sense of humor are just some of the traits that I admire about you. I'm so glad to call you a friend. I hope you're around for at least another 30,000 posts, and if I'm still around too I know I'll be just as eager to read them then as I am now.

Sky and OAD you are absolutely two of my favorites on here. I'm in the minority on this board and more of a reader rather than a poster but I wouldn't enjoy it nearly as much if you two weren't here.

I see we joined around the same time. I just have the phobia about posting to much. My wife tells me to sit down and shut up and listen. Out of habit it carries over to posting here too. LOL. We all can certainly say that you are a True Blue Devil and love your posts

Glad you post as often as you do! You post good stuff during the season, rip on Roy and the Cheats as good as anyone, and keep the board going in the offseason. Plus, you're just an all-around good guy.

You all rallied around me after my wife's accident and I'll always be grateful for that! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers during that time! It's a miracle she survived and I credit all the support we received (plus her being one tough cookie) for her survival.

Where is Heyman25?

Heyman is just not posting now. To be frank and honest he got tired of the direction the board was heading. He didn't care for some of the posters both DI and thr were doing. He is a face book friend of mine and I stay in touch that way. I have tried to encourage him to start back but so far no luck. I respect his stand and understand. I tried to tell him just to ignore those who irritate him. He's one of the main reason I started posting if not the main reason. He's like General Patton in a way. Set in his ways. Speaking of my face book friends I know a few of you are DI posters but don't know what nick names you are using. You know who I am. Wish I knew who you are. Just saying. I will give Heyman another shot. OFC
