CFB has now moved to minor league NFL status and quality talent will get top dollar in the league no matter where they go to college.

I'm not sure it's been tried to the extent that Belichick is going to do it.

UNC also agreed to increase their NIL package from $5 million to $20 million to land Belichick. That's a massive increase and gets them largely up to speed.

Belichick is surely going to run UNC unlike any other college program has been run before.

I mean, look at the absolute frenzy it caused when Deion went to Colorado. And he'd been out of the league for 2 decades.

Granted, Belichick doesn't have the cool factor that Deion does with street cred and all that in the black community (just speaking frankly here, because it's a factor). But what he does have is 8 Super Bowl rings, 6 as a head coach.
