Theae are the folks we are supposed to believe when they give us health suggestions.
I thought the CDC stood for Center for Disease Control.
Instead, they seemingly want it changed to Center for Thought Control.
The arguments they put forth in this press release/petition are asinine.
First, and the most absurd, is even the Coronavirus is racist as it kills blacks and latin folks at 2 times the rate it kills whites.
Seond, the assumption that because someone is black, that automatically makes them qualified for the bigger jobs - the very argument they are trying to debunk from the other angle.
Third, that racism should be classified as a "health" emergency when racism is a way of thinking and acting on those thoughts and not something that can be "caught".
That's enough for now... some people just leave you shaking your head...

That's systematic racism. It's not an individual in a position of power being racist, but a system which is racist. With systematic racism. racism is not demonstrated through instances of racist acts by people, but by statistics. Only 10% of the agency is AA. Therefore, the CDC must be racist. Never mind, there may be a lower percentage of people of color who choose to enter these science fields. It must be racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic because an uncritical analysis of the statistics say so. You disagree with their conclusions? Then you must be a racist.
Aren't blacks only around 12% of the population, decreasing every day due to blacks killing each other over who cares the most about black lives matter, so they shouldn't really be making up more than 12% anyway.
