I liked him on Chiefs but at least he can battle for starting job. With Kelce obviously the starter, he was just a backup. At least he got a Super Bowl with Damien Williams.
Unless he turns heads in Dallas, he was signed as a back up after Witten left. They signed him to a 1 year deal. They just signed Jarwin to a 3 yr deal. He'll get the nod as starter unless Blake works some magic. I think what we'll see is Bell as the blocking TE and Jarwin as the pass catching TE.
If he gets a paycheck from football this year he is blessed...
They did a feature on him Sunday night on the local FOX affiliate in Dallas. Without coming out directly and saying it, they pretty much left the idea, that he came to Dallas because the primary lady in his life, lives in Southlake. Kind of the way SMU got Craig James. That was slightly more meaningful. A one year contract isn't a lot of security. But nobody in football is guaranteed much in 2020.
