Hum it doesn't seem to bother UK fans when a kid leaves his home state to come play basketball at UK.
Please don't put Wills and Harris in the same boat. I'm disappointed that Wills is not coming to UK but OTOH he did nothing to lead people on to think he was ever seriously considering us to begin with. The same can not be said for Harris, but in line with what the OP is saying, I think we're doing ok without him.

Ya, Harris deal IMO was just a come on & I think the Wills case was pretty much
in Bama's favor from the git go with him. Not a yanking of the chain.
I realize this team is not top 40 team but IMO no team has 4 running backs
as deep as us when you add Little & King to the mix. Folks these 4 backs combined
can't be matched, IMO, by anyone.

I don't think Harris would thrive behind UK's O Line the way that Snell has.
Bottom line is that Snell was underrated coming out of HS and could be one of the biggest steals out of the entire recruiting class, NATIONALLY!

Can we please stop with this stuff already? UK has Snell. Bama has Harris. Both are doing well and I'm sure neither regrets their decision.

Yes it's a proven fact that Snell is the better of the two. But it would have been awesome to have them both on this team together. As for Wills...He never led anyone on like Harris did. Wills is straight with me. Wills gave Stoops every chance to change his mind about choosing UK over Bama but Stoops just shat the bed. Good Luck to Wills....Harris can E.A.B.D's
As it turns out, Harris made the right decision for his FB career. At UK this year he would be buried in the depth chart!

Harris made the decision that was best for him. He is going to win multiple national titles and is averaging 7.5 yard a carry this year himself. Alabama is running a RB by committee (like UK does) but their QB has most of their rushing TDs this year it appears. None of the RBs have more than 5 (Harris has just 2!).
So in closing UK is just fine at RB and Harris is just fine at Alabama. Neither side really lost here for once in recruiting.

Had Harris chose to come to UK Snell may have decided to go elsewhere. If Snell had came even with Harris it could have caused Stoops to red shirt Snell. So in the end it seems to have worked out for all involved.
I for one have never understood all the animosity towards recruits and their decisions. They are 17-18 year old kids that don't owe these teams or fan bases anything. Yes Harris did handle the situation poorly but he is a kid taking advantage of his talent and skill. Just wish them luck and move on with your life.

Harris actually has a good passing game he has to contend with for plays while the Kentucky RBs do not have such a threat

if Harris had come here we would not have King on the team. I am sure that Rose and Snell would still be here
If an instate player wants to play for some other team besides UK, that is ok. I only want players who want to be here. I wish them the best of luck and hope their college career leads them to the NFL. Whether they played at UK or not its always good to see Kentuckians succeed to the highest level.
THIS!!!!! I'm sure both AL and UK are happy with the RB results from these two young men. Harris would have been great to have at UK but then Snell may not have been able to do what he did this year if Harris was at UK.
