I appreciated the reminder his father's passing when he was a freshman, and apparently Coach and the program were really there for him - I mean, his roommate is Coach's son! It may seem corny, but it makes it really gratifying to root for a program that really embodies a family vibe.

Guys like Ty Berry make me very proud to be an NU fan. Wishing the best for him and his teammates. Beat Illinois!

We are a real team (the true definition of the word) with high character, academically strong, student athletes. Makes me even prouder to root for these guys these days where true college sports feels like it’s falling apart.

Sounds like coach Collin’s has really taken Ty in since the passing of his dad. Love Collin’s. Nu is lucky to have him.

Everything I hear from these guys is Collins is great to and with each of them. It's almost as if he actually cares about them as people.

Also, Ty is just such a great kid and I am also proud to route for him and his teammates.

Wasn't sure originally if it was Collin's son or Barnhizer as his nickname is "coaches son". But Barnhizer rooms with Martinelli correct?
