Moving on to songs written and composed in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. Bing and Deano rule the airways with their smooth-as-silk voices. Remember to vote the matchups (1v16, 8v9, etc) just like in the NCAA tourney. You get four votes per thread.

The next region will be in play on Monday. On Tuesday, go and vote some other way which is almost important as these threads.

1 Seed - The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas To You) -
versus
16 Seed - Silver Bells -

8 Seed - Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Claus Lane) -
versus
9 Seed - Frosty The Snowman -

5 Seed - Sleigh Ride -
versus
12 Seed - Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas) -

4 Seed - Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer -
versus
13 Seed - Winter Wonderland -

-yeah... this region pisses me off. These aren't Christmas worship songs... but marketing/pop music written quite often by non-Christian folk for profit. I will abstain.

You're gonna hate Monday and Wednesday's threads then.

The Christmas Song is not that great of a song. However, the performance makes it great. Outside of NKC, Bing Crosby or Karen Carpenter singing it, it is average

Karen Carpenter can make anything sound nice. My parents had their Christmas album in heavy rotation on our 8 track player.
