Undisputed king. Too bad we don't have them here.

Around these parts, I'll go with Culver's. The majestic simplicity of a Wendy's junior bacon cheeseburger or a Big Mac are hard to beat though.

I don't consider anything without a drive thru at the typical location to qualify as "fast food", so Five Guys, etc are not included despite almost always being far superior to fast food burgers.

Yep. Those places are considered "fast casual" in the industry. They're categorized as a middle ground between ff and table service restaurants. I'm a gigantic dork for this one...

When I lived in Arizona I preferred whataburger. The Big Mac used to hit the spot when hungover in my college days. All the other ones taste the same to me. Had shake shack like 6 months ago that was good but think that’s considered “fast casual”.

Of these three:
1. Freddy’s
2. Culvers
3. Steak and Shake

Real fast food:
1. McDonalds
2. Wendys
Pass on the rest. Never been to a Whataburger or In-N-Out

Others:
1. Burger-Fi
2. Backyard Burger (they might be gone now)
3. Five guys.

Overall, I’d take Freddy’s because their fries are the best too.

Steak and shake was the best, now there are only two that I know of still serving, clarksville and outer loop, both drive thru only. Freddy's in Radcliff I think you can eat in

New WW Cousins where old steak and shake was on dixie..never was a fan of WW Couisins ..

I do think 5 guys has the best burger.. but thats my go-to lunch time work joke.

"Yo I'm hungry, let's go eat 5 guys.. and then let's get lunch after hahaha"

*everyone groans*

I would put three tennis balls in a sock and beat you senseless if you did that more than twice.

ugh. I went to Austin 4 years ago. right down the street from my hotel was an In & Out AND a whataburger. But I didn't realize that until I was on the way back to the airport. And even if I did I wouldn't have had time to eat at both. But my employer at the time did buy all of us all you can eat at The Salt Lick after we played softball at Dell Diamond (Round Rock minor league stadium)
