Sick to death of Subway, Jimmy Johns - can't stand the thought of one more plus a bag of chips. Not a big fan of Firehouse either.

So, I need a new "go to" place for grabbing a quick sandwich and a side. Thanks in advance for all of your sage advice and recommendations.

Chicken parm from Jets is excellent.
Chicken salad from the chick in Brannon.
Crab BLT from Carsons.
Turkey bacon ranch from Arby's is underrated

Dad's for sure, Jersey Mike's is the best of the sub shops by a long shot. I personally like a Penn Station Philly every once in a while. You can't go wrong with Windy Corner if you are up that way.

You can always mix in a shawarma from Sahara too, unless its Ramadan.

I agree with those about Jersey Mike's.

I would also add Jason's Deli. Newk's is fair......it's no Jason's Deli, but it's fair.

Jason's Deli is pretty good, but I work downtown, hard to get out Nicholasville Road at lunch time.

You ever go to Sunrise Bakery? They're only open Thursday and Friday but they're always full when they're open.

I think jimmy Johns is highly overrated, as well as priced. If we’re not talking calories, penn station chicken teriyaki is where it’s at
