Best way to get first/second rd tickets in Lexington?

Wait until the teams are announced. Choose the school that’s furthest away or has the smallest fanbase. Go to their athletic department site and get them.
I bought at face when they dropped through the NCAA/Ticketmaster at https://www.ncaatickets.com/championship/march-madness. Looks like what is mainly out there for full (3) session passes are mainly verified resale options. If you are okay moving around between sessions each of the three sessions appear to have face value tickets (identified as a blue dot on Ticketmaster) available.
