I f-n knew it would happen, but damned if I didn't let myself hope. Cal is a good coach, but more than that, he's petty. If there was one game he was going to actually coach for and give af about, it was going to be this one.

I don’t think Wagner’s buckets came wide open, he hit a couple step backs and some tough layups. He just played the best game of his career, he’ll prob go 0-3 from 3 and score 5 points next game.
They won't play like this the rest of the year.... Cal and the 3 ex UK players had something to prove.... And we fed right into it booing them... We did not play bad.... They just played way above what they have showed all year... That was the thing that was so frustrating with Cal his last few years...you would see games like tonight and wonder why it's not like that... Every night..

The fact that we only went zone once the game was already decided shows that someone didn't scout. A zone defense is Cal's kryptonite, and the one zone we run the most is Cal's absolute worst enemy: the 1-3-1.
So yes, I'm pissed, and it's because we played badly.
