Only got to see the first half as the FOX channel in Atlanta cut away to air the Falcons game. Ended up listening to it on the Nebraska Husker station out of Lincoln. Their announcer's tone after that last long drive by NU that made Nebraska burn all its timeouts was so disheartening, you could hear it in their voices.

Great start to your season. It's going to be fun watching the Cats make all those who wrote them off eat their words.

Yup!

Defense improved if not Hank level.
Good enough to win, but if it weren’t for what maybe looked like the best offense I’ve seen at NU since Dan Persa was our QB against what is supposed to be a salty and experienced Nebraska D, we don’t win.

The offense! Overall, the playcalling was improved, despite a couple inexcusable 3rd and long calls. Evan Hull is a stud. Cam is still Cam but Hull is just better. Donny Navarro is our best WR.OL is great. Kurt Anderson thank you! Hilinski! 27/38 313 yards 2TDS. We had 500+ yards and 300 passing and 200 rushing. When’s the last time we put up 500 yards or 300 in the air? I’m estatic!

Frost is a goner. LOL

visit the Husker board if you want to see the meltdown of meltdowns

Mrs. Fitz knows that there’s still at least one “snake” left in Ireland.

Pat Fitzgerald, since 2006, has been built on one possession wins. Scott Frost career at UNL has been the opposite. Well done in the trenches today by Wildcats.

1-0 Northwestern
B1G West Illinois, Iowa. Minnesota, Purdue and Wisconsin all 0-0
0-1 Nebraska
