this football season is about the least enjoyable I remember in 48 years of fandom.
Between PSU and the Steelers…..

The interesting thing about the Steelers and PSU are the similarities in what the teams have historically been like, and how they were this year which has caused such a downfall.
Both the Steelers and PSU are very vulnerable to power running teams running right at the defense. Both Defensive lines are light sized and are vulnerable to getting the ball run right down their throat. The Steelers have light in weight inside linebackers, PSU has had a fairly weak linebacker grouping this year especially after #13 went down.
Wide Receiver room identified as a problem was supposed to be fixed, but was not dramatically improved. Offensive schemes that throw sideline to sideline avoiding the middle of the field and defenses succeptible to teams that throw to the middle of the field.......
Head coaches who are viewed as CEOs of the operation.
