Bey and Kopp

What are the chances we land one of them? and does anyone have a preference.

Bey and Kopp are both coming for a visit in Sept. If I understand things there is now only one spot left. What are the chances we land one of them? and does anyone have a preference.

Naturally I have managed to mess this up and get the text after the poll but you guys are smart and can work with it. Share you reasoning if you have any.

The probability of getting at least one heads on two coin flips is 75%. So that's what I'll go with.

I'd truly be happy with either guy. Bey is probably more of an all-around player, but I can also see Kopp turning into a 15+ ppg player and lighting up the scoreboard.

100% chance I'm happy if we land either. Alternatively if THT committed I'd be thrilled as well - getting a blue chip from Simeon is huge, and THT appears to be a natural leader. I could see him as a team captain and drawing other top recruits, a real program builder.

I never learned how to calculate probability. If we have a 50/50 chance with both Bey and Kopp and a 10% chance with THT, What are the chances that we at least get one?

THT narrowing his choices down sometime today. I'd be surprised if we are still in the picture.

I'll be thrilled with either Kopp or Bey. First come, first served!

Hey, if NU's not for him, that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with him. We're just not his flavor. And besides, if he were to make a halfhearted commitment and later have second thoughts, nobody wins. Best off for all involved that it turns out like this, we wish him well, turn the page and both sides move on without regrets.

Normally, would favor the 2-way player, but if Kopp is a lights out shooter, that would be a nice asset to have on the team.

Just curious, I'm sure this has been asked and answered and I just missed it in the offseason, but do we have a hard limit of 4 recruits by the numbers? IE if by chance both wanted to commit even though we like both and think they are high-quality players and people, we still only have room for 1, right?

Correct. Unless Vic Law Jr. passes up his 5th year of eligibility.....

I don't think Bey is touted as a better defender than Kopp. Bey is more all around on the offensive side, showing more handles and pick and roll capabilities than Kopp. Kopp does look like the better shooter though.
