I thought this had already happened. I guess there is often a gap between reports of something in the works, and things becoming official. I had reported it in the CFB Carousel thread at the beginning of this month.

What is Michigan buying now?
They’re bringing Biff in to do the buying. His family is loaded so he doesn’t need to work at all. They just need him to continue what he’s been doing for the last 30 years, buying players. Here in Baltimore he’s been paying for kids to play for him at Gilman and Saint Francis high schools And then he went to Michigan specifically to bring them a couple of recruits and then when he went to Charlotte, he thought he was gonna be able to entice some bigger name guys to come play at a smaller school, but it just didn’t happen. And then when he didn’t have the best players on his roster, you could see what kind of an actual coach he was.

I don’t know the guy but I feel like used car salesmen are more noble.

Hes a hedge fund guy. Family worth 100 million maybe. He played at Pitt. I will give him credit for teaching a financial literacy class at Charlotte (he had to ask former PSU PhD Brad Yeckley at Charlotte to do it)

IMO, his hedge fund "seed" money might have been dirty along with his subsequent "success". You won't find much info on Joe Nix, his late father in law. I'll stop now.

Yeah he and his family are far from clean. Biff was a known trouble maker in little Italy and got kicked out of Calvert Hall before going to Gilman. Father in law did all the real 'work' for Biff and the "fund".

From what I have been told it wasn't until his sophomore 2nd semester but either way I just wanted to show that he was a Pitt guy first.lol
