“Let me put it this way, if you do ‘horns down’ to a Texas player, as an opponent, that’s probably going to be a foul,” Burks said. “If you turn to your crowd and do a ‘horns down,’ you’re not taunting an individual or an opponent so it probably won’t be a foul.

Texas has become soft. Tissues will be on sidelines for Texas players whose feelings are hurt by horns down.

Do not cheer or celebrate against Texas or you could be flagged. This includes fans in stands. Replay screens and or announcers. It will be the so called at the discretion of officials from Texas. No more home losses for the ***** horns.

Participation trophy generation. I think Texas should get reparations from any opponent not showing proper deference to the Horns!

When it happened you thought WVU looked like an idiot according to you…

They had the foam horns down at the basketball game.
Ended up getting ran out of the gym
And that's the way it should be done. Not this ***** fit tampon crying boohoohoo to the conference because you little feelings got hurt.

Was never that big a deal until Sills. It became national news for a year.
If you want to see it that way.
College sports are fun with drama

But some of the obsession with Texas in this conference is borderline psychotic.
You can look at TT. Their fanbase has been tagging the NCAA on Twitter since yesterday

The difference is these schools recruit the state
WVU doesn’t.

The fanbase can come out again when Texas comes to Morgantown and get turned up.
Makes for good television.

I guess Neal Brown can show recruits the atmosphere
What is in it for WVU
That is all you should care about

I think WVU should be able to raise the Northern Panhandle and give respect to the Eastern Panhandle every time WVU scores a TD or even has a positive play ...... against Texas. I mean who needs Horns Down if WVU can just show pride in the state of WV.

How quickly would the flags fly?

Greg Burk is a chicken **** - he wants to make sure that the fragile feelings of the girlie Texas players are not hurt.

This issue would go away, if Texas would actually beat the teams that its favored to beat in conference play, and occasionally win a Big 12 Championship.

I guess they'll have to try and take that rule to the SEC with them.
