This week looks pretty vanilla, although I do feel that Tech could pull the upset in the Black Hole of Lubbock against the Pokes. Just a gut feeling.

Tech 48 - 38 over OSU; OSU's luck about to expire, should have lost to Tx and WVU

TCU 44 - 38 over WVU; TCU does not have a defense

ISU 31 - 24 over Texas, not an upset

Remember how horrible Tech's defense was against OU? They'll be just as bad next week when OSU comes riding into town. I'm thinking OSU wins by at least 10.

ISU has been fairly decent on offense (ranked 59th), but not so hot on defense (103rd). Although texas is pretty one-dimensional on offense, this might be a closer game than expected. If this had been played in Ames, I'd take the Clones, but since it's in Austin, the horns win.

Iowa State is down Lizard so think shorthorns move on with another win. Weird stuff happens in Lubbock so feel that upset may rattle the Poles for their first loss in the battle of the pop gun pistols and fake cowboys.

With news of Mangino out...dropping Iowa State's points down to 14...could be even lower than that of lizard is still out. Shorthorns will roll 36-14 revised prediction...hate to cheer for those scum bags....but...
