Tonight’s episode was the GOAT in the series. Hilarious. Captain Kirk and friends. Lol

This show hasn't missed a beat considering how long it has been on and how much they've changed the dynamic with marriages, kids, etc. I hate to see it go.

Agree. It is so cleverly written, and the entire group of actors (including the frequent background characters) are all fantastic actors.

You and most the cast. Pretty much the guy who plays Sheldon said he had enough and the producers weren't willing to go on with out him in fear the show would have a big drop off. Pretty much the entire rest of the cast wanted to keep going.

I can see why he would be tired of it. They have been doing it for a long time. I love the show but I am glad to see they are going out without any let down.

I evidently lost my funny bone at some point. I don’t find any sitcoms anymore that I enjoy. I tried Big Bang, because everyone told me how great it was. Don’t get it.

But that’s why they make options.

I'm pretty much the same way. Big Bang is the only sitcom I can watch. I used to watch quite a few of them, but don't think any of them are enjoyable these days. My wife tries to get me interested in some new ones, and they never take.

I'm the same way when it comes to comedy movies. I never want to see them, and when I watch them, I rarely laugh.

This.

The only sitcom comedy that's been entertaining for me in years has been "Rules of Engagement". Lots of sarcastic humor and Bianca Kajlich is absolutely gorgeous.

Comedy movies are just stupid and I'm probably the only one on the planet that wishes Will Ferrell would just go away.

Carry on.

The problem with sitcoms is they have been around so long, and there have been so many of them, that you damn near always know where the joke is going before it lands. I think thats why animated stuff like Archer and Southpark crack me up more. They are more free to go into areas sitcoms haven't beaten to death.

I think the audience is dumber and the creators know lowest common denominator is all that’s necessary.

Totally agree on Ferrell

Have you any of you seen “The kids are alright”? It has been one of my favorites lately.

I started watching late. Not sure I have watched the first couple of seasons. But, I am a closet nerd, so I am/was into the majority of things that the characters are in to, so I got hooked pretty quickly.

I watched every season up to a few years ago and just lost interest.

But I can't name a single series of any kind I've watched lately other than Shaun the Sheep.
