I'm not one to start useless threads but this one is worth the countdown. A new brand of UK Men's Basketball is almost upon us and Coach Pope has fielded a nice team. Looking forward to seeing the difference in a hungry coach working as our coach. I was in the boat of people that said it was time for change and we have to be ready for the outcome good or bad. Can't wait to start the roster talks and reading the board all day and night. GO CATS!!

Tape delay on rabbit ears..
Usually is, I hope it is.... I don't understand the purpose of tape delays if it ends up being tape delayed. SEC has a alternate channel that LITTERALLY does nothing ever. Just runs banners across the screen all day.

I wouldn't be shocked if someone has tickets on EBay that are free, but you are "buying" a UK pencil for 1,250...collectors item, you know?

...down to 18 days now!No to both questions. Seems like in the past, tickets get released around the end of September/early October so I wouldn't be surprised if UK doesn't put out a release with all of that information this week.
Should be on the SEC Network, but if not then UK should have a nostalgic Big Blue Network broadcast. I'd love to see Rob Bromley and Dave Baker one more time for old times sake.

I was told by a friend today that it would most likely be televised? So could go either way. With BW game not being televised and tickets going for minimum $100, seems BBM will have to be free and on live.
Tickets distributed on Ticketmaster at 5 PM on September 27th. Due to renovations at Memorial, no ticket distribution there/campout.

You know what else was a bummer? When Adou Thiero shat himself last year on the team's bus ride on the way to the Louisville game. And you know what the worst part was, beyond the ungodly smell? He tried denying that he poopied his pants and said that he'd been pranked -- that it was actually D.J. Wagner who took a dump in Adou's pants. He went on to bizarrely explain that the night before D.J. must have taken a dookie in Adou's pants, and then Adou put the pants on the next morning without realizing there was poo inside. But no one believed him because he didn't smell all that morning and he didn't smell when they first got on the bus, but twenty minutes into the trip it came on like a wave. It almost got heated between Adou and D.J. You know, a lot of folks around the program lost a ton of respect for Adou that day since he didn't own up to making the pile of poop that was found in his trousers. The poop was his and he knows it.

I can't wait. I'll be home in Kentucky for the first time in 3 years and I'll be attending my first Big Blue Madness!!
I'm coming up from Florida for the Keeneland, BBM, Vandy trifecta, can't wait!
As much as I am thrilled that Pope is our coach and as excited as I am to have a much-needed new direction for our program, Big Blue Madness is yawner these days.
It was something cool back in the day when there was limited video of the players, no social media, not a lot of practice video and you had to camp or wait out to stampede into Memorial and try to find a good seat and then have a big pep rally until midnight when the team came out and was introduced. Now, there's really just not much anticipation.
