A bow hunting buddy of mine who I have known 50 years swears he saw one while scouting for a good deer stand and shot at it while it ran away. No blood trail. Which got me thinking. If you had a gun with you, would you blast it into Big Foot heaven? I think I would.

Nope. Wouldn’t shoot my cousin. Maybe slap him around a little for leaving his scent around my hunting grounds though. That’s not kosher.

She chewed my arm off while I was passed out and was running away. Guess I'm coyote ugly

I LOVE the Bigfoot fantasy, but it's real the likelihood of him being found in Kentucky is .00000001%.

Including "bow hunting buddy" is a clever detail as it infers "knows the outdoors" to your reader. If it had been your "card playing buddy" or your "UFO hunting buddy" it wouldn't have been as credible.

For example, if I say "I have a fishing buddy that saw the Lock Ness Monster" then there's the instant credibility of being a fisherman inferred but not directly stated.

What if I said, I'm a podiatrist and big foot sightings are quite common?

I'll be in McKee in a few weeks which is about 100 miles west of Martin County and in the Daniel Boone National Forest. I will have my Golden Doodle with me for protection and will update the board with any findings.

Of all the monster animal schlock films that Jaws inspired, I like 1979's The Prophecy best.

I used to confuse Robert Foxworth with Richard Masur. I know, right?!
I think you really underrate Sharknado.

There is absolutely no way this story is true. Of all the nonsensical posts you’ve made after all these years, this is by far the most unbelievable. There is NO way that you have a friend.

All my friends are dying off.

I wouldn't shoot anything if I wasn't sure what it was. It would most likely just be a guy in a gorilla suit running a hoax. Even if I knew it wasn't human, I wouldn't kill it unless it threatened me.

That was great when it came out. One of the better horror movies from my childhood. Campy now, but at the time it was pretty great.

You must be a Language Arts teacher. Me and my grandson covered this "inferring" angle last year in 5th grade virtual school.
