Big Tens help!

Our weekend just opened up and We Are looking to come down for the Big Tens. I have a couple questions.

1. Will there be radios available for purchase to be able to listen to mat commentary like at NCAAs ?

2. Every listing I’ve seen on secondary market and posted here lists 3 sessions. The tv schedule and other things I’ve seen has IV sessions listed for the finals.

If I buy a listing that says includes all 3 sessions does that include the finals matches? I’m assuming it does because I’ve seen no listings anywhere for session 4 but just want to be sure

Thanks

No radios for sale, but if you bring one capable of getting local radio you can listen to JB and his commentary. He is truly the best in the industry!

the problem with this is that it's not the live radio feed you'd get from having an FM radio. The latency will mean it will be delayed by a few seconds.
^this, plus you are at mercy of WiFi or cell coverage. This can be good but maybe not.

I have one of these and it works really well. Amazon can deliver by tomorrow for me.

The Sunday Session all one ticket, but there generally is a break of about an hour between the consolations, 7th place matches, and the extra matches for weights were 8 or more NCAA spots are available and then the finals, which need to start at 4:30 as they are on live TV. The finals will actually be 3 mats with the 1st, 3rd, and 5th place matches taking place at the same time.

Sometimes at home I listen to the radio call by Jeff Byers through streaming. I'm not sure if you've ever done that before but I'm assuming with earbuds that might work?

I do it for every home meet. Rec Hall has a little better reception but BJC is still fine. Occasionally I need to hold the earbud cable out for better reception, I think it uses the cable as the antenna. I normally only have one in so I can also converse with @Hlstone

Wasn’t sure where to post this question, but I’ll try here.

Can anyone provide a very rough estimate what time the Sunday session will be done? TIA

If i remember from past years, there is a slight break between each weight for TV purposes. All 3 medal matches for each weight have to finish before the next weight starts. So i would say it ends between 7 and 7:30. 7:24 pm is my best guess.

If stream doesn't work ,some phones have FM app and capabilities. My Motorola does. Not sure if Byers is on a FM feed .

Forgive the nerd break, but phones really need to start having what’s known as software-defined radios built-in. There’s so many different frequencies that you could do so many different things with. It’ll never happen though because of the fcc, the ability to break out of monetized ecosystems, and all the anticompetitive hoarding of available spectrum. Most phones don’t have radio antennas, but I have heard that Motorolas do, which is sweet and on brand for them.

I have a Moto , I wasn't sure what other android devices do . I'm 64 and getting left behind in technology by choice . I can't believe my 2 year granddaughter can finger slide you tube to watch different videos.

Anyone know if they will sell brackets, then updated brackets at session starts? The BJC did this for the Olympic trials and it was convenient. Have they done this at other B10 tournaments?
