Big weekend ahead.....

I know Arch Manning has an offer and that's a great thing.
But the USC QB, Jaxson Dart is in Norman this weekend with his teammate TE Michael Trigg. Dart is a huge addition wherever he ends up. He is not a dual-action QB but he has good mobility to go with his great passing ability.
I hear it's between OU and Ole Miss for both players....a package deal.
Then There's LB-DE Drew Sanders from Alabama with OU, Texas and Arkansas the frontrunners.
DL Brandon Bowen (all-conference) from TCU has OU under consideration. He has played in one game in 2021 since mid-season of 2020 due to injuries.
DL Mehki Wingo from Missouri is also a possibility for OU. He was on the All-SEC freshman team and played in all but one game.
I'm hoping another offensive lineman can be had to help rebuild Bedenbaugh's line.

From what I understand Dart & Trigg arrived yesterday. They'll be spending the day in Norman and then headed to Ole Miss tonight. But you're right, BV & Co have got some work to do.

Josh Conerly the 5 star OL from Seattle is also visiting.

We'll see what these guys can do with almost no time left. Getting a few of these players would definitely energize the Sooner nation and shine a light on what will be coming down the road in terms of recruiting.

However it turns out...we are lucky to be rid of LR.

I looked on the USC board the other day and from what I saw most the posters were not happy that Dart left and didn’t really seem impressed with Caleb. Also I saw some wondering why Lincoln is after so many skill guys and not Oline and Dline LOL. A tiger never loses their stripes

I forget the book but I read a novel a few years ago that depicted a limited conventional war with the US and China. The phrase the main characters used still resonates with me "may our enemies die screaming". Now that is a tad drastic when considering Muleshoe, but only a tad.
