I'm going to say something that at the start of the season, I never thought I'd be saying; Seibert got screwed. All due respect to Dickson as he's one heck of a punter, but that's all he does, & to be fair, in that one aspect, he does have a solid advantage. In addition to punting though, Seibert's missed only 2 FG's (one on a botched hold/playcall per Riley himself) no PAT's, & of the 96 times he kicked off, only 19 were returned. If the award's Punter of the Year, that's Dickson, no questions asked, but STPOY? That's Seibert from where I'm standing, & every bit as decidedly so.
The Sooners did a great job this year.
