For Texas, I think it all depends on their health at qb and rb. If the two starters stay healthy, Texas might win 11 or 12. If Beuchele gets hurt, they might be under .500 again, though I think Warren might be able to carry them to a good aeason if maybe Heard ended up at quarterback. His is made for the offense Herman likes to run.

Considering that the Horns' two losses to OU in the past 4 years could easily have been wins, I wouldn't disrespect them too much. For all the issues Texas has had recently, the last 4 games with OU have been dog fights....and two stunning upsets by Texas.

They have very little chance to win the conference this year. I do think in 2 or 3 years they will be competing for the conference crown with OU

I see Texas going 9-4 this year. Losing @ USC, and in Dallas against OU and a home game against either KSU or OSU and 1 game on the road against either WV or TCU and winning their bowl game. They will be picked to win the conference next year.

Texas is a couple of years away. I'm not even picking them over Kansas yet.
