was this guy that over rated or has his confidence been totally destroyed
I understand having off games, but he seems to have such drastic swings from 20 points to 5 points, just not very consistent

Hogs were right there with about 3-4 min to go, but couldn't execute down the stretch.

That is surprising considering they have a hall of fame coach…

just seems like having such a masterful coach as that would bode well for a team to finish games strong. Was this just an anomaly for a coach of this reknown???

Very curious, for sure

Lot of posters not commenting on his previous 2-3 games , computers must have been broke ... he plays for a turd of a coach who until recently didnt even play him , or use him in a proper role .. yeah sucked last night , I enjoyed it . I'd consider rooting for UT over Army , and thats saying a TON

alyssa lang was in the under 12 huddle and reported that cal said we are going to run some stuff for z closer to the basket to get him going.

and then they proceeded to not ever get him a close shot to the basket.

Did anyone see the fan video of Arky leaving Rupp's court and BIG Z mouthing off to the fans? You'd think he'd be a little more humble considering how the fans treated him here. Hell, some bought him a damn billboard. I lost whatever positive sentiment I had for the guy then.
He looked like a punk mouthing off when he got his technical. Maybe he's trying to toughen up?

His game depends on a playmaker and Arkansas doesn’t really have that .

I think we overrated him due to being desperate for a big that could score from the outside but he would have been much better playing but minutes in a full season with Reed and Rob

Z looked scared to death last night! He shot 2-3 complete air balls!

I don’t think Z wanted to be in the paint with the bigs from Auburn!

Big Z is afraid of Cal he needs to find a coach who can help him gain his confidence
This is what I think is happening. Kenny Payne is there for Big Z so Cal can tear him down and Kenny can build him back up. Before long Z will become the next Skal 2.0.

It’s amazing that Arkansas was even in the game. Guess AU is saving their offense for us.
I thought it was evident that Auburn just wasn’t taking this game seriously. Understandable considering Arkys record and the fact they were coming off the big win at Bama

Kinda strikes me Z was thinking he was a sure one and done. Right now I believe he is a two year reclamation project. If he went to a Pitino, Pope, even Barnes and bore down his game two years he could earn a pro spot. As of now he's a stretch for the euro league.

Cal always seems to have big men that avoid contact. As the commentators in the game said even in warm ups it appeared Z did not have his "legs". Is that due to conditioning, the physical SEC (most likely), and without the lower body strength your shots will be off. I assume the physical play by Auburn in the paint was too much for him as well. Cal as typical is using him wrong and someone above said Skal 2.0 and that is correct.

. . . . and Guy could have spun around on a bat 10 times, took three shots of bourbon and shot it backwards against us and it would have gone in. Crazy
