Jay has a favorite rant about the 1 seed process. I’ve heard it 10x already- it’s completely dumb. I can’t listen to it all day!

I love selection Sunday- but the non stop arguing on ESPN is unwatchable

Just show the brackets. Thats all we want to see. No one cares about the talking heads, who got left out. If Texas gets in with a 500 record that will be absurd.

We all know whats going to happen. The brackets will be announced, then Dick Vitale goes on TV barking about how North Southcentral Eastern Midwest Louisiana Tech did not make the tournament and how the little guy is always getting screwed. He will find someone he feels should not be in but in reality in a head to head matchup, pool old NSEMLT would get smashed into oblivion.

After last season I’m not so sure. Smaller schools are what the tourney is made of. Who would have seen UMBC or loyal Chicago making a run against top tier teams.

I tend to watch as many games as I can because somehow you like watching the under dogs bring it

I think the big guys should be penalized for playing the super cupcakes always at home and be pressured to play the better mid majors on the road.
It sucks if NC State gets punished for getting beat up by Duke, Carolina, and UVA, but at the same time, they should have to play the Belmonts and Davidsons on the road and beat them if they want to use the we have to play in a better conference arguement.

Someone at ESPN must really like what he says. I like his intelligence on the subject on basketball but I definitely get tired of his rants.

That’s ridiculous. Well why would 2 games change your body of work? 3 games? 4? When does stop? Each game should matter.

Too much is out on conference tournament IMO...it's entire body of work not just 2-3 games IMO

Don’t disagree totally, but we are splitting hairs with a lot of these teams so I think you have to use the conference tournaments to determine a few teams and seed lines.

Why would 6 games change your body of work? Because it’s called a Tournament. A Tournament results in a crowned Champion.
Yes it does and should carry some weight.

I like the show that starts on ESPN2 or ESPNU with the “second tier” analysts. They go a lot more in depth and they don’t bicker with each other trying to prove they’re the smartest person in the room like Bilas, Seth, and J Will do.
