People with money have too much influence, Gates is smart in his field but stay in your lane. Look at how much influence John Schnatter has in Kentucky, the guy made a Fn pizza.

Dang, man we have a real estate weasel running the country. I think these folks are going to have more and more influence as they get richer and richer.

As usual, Gates is thinking small. Launch mining expeditions to find high nickel content asteroids in asteroid belt. Use solar mirrors to heat up asteroids. Spin up to a great rate of speed. Metal flattens out. Allow to cool. Intersperse between sol, and sol 3. Shade man. As a bonus use the mirrors to generate electricity. Space defense against the BEM. Putin. Whomever.

Yeah they will go hide in their under ground bunkers launch nukes everywhere. They can establish the Illuminati goal of eliminating 5 billion people if I am not mistaken. Then at same time block out sun with all the ash. Plus launching there nukes everywhere probably cause one if the Mega Volcanos to blow which will cover the sky in ash. One mega Volcano eruption and we are screwed. If they end up doing something like that hope it affects the structural integrity of their bunkers and they collapse or fill up with Molton Lava. Either way they will be getting destroyed as well. It's all in Ezekiel Stuff like the mountains collapse on them and they still curse God while their eyeballs melt inside of their skull. That was some paraphrasing but it talks about that. I believe it's the Illuminati and all the billionaires hiding in the mountain bunkers but it back fires. They probably forget as well launching all them bombs with that much energy might affect the plates of the earth and create earthquakes crumbling their bunkers. They are doomed!

Yeah, why hire a guy who understands business.

We really should hire a guy who's never done anything... never held a job... maybe from a major super power country outside the US like Kenya.

Wait Bill Gates isn't qualified to fight global warming and Papa John isn't qualified to sit on a college board but Trump is qualified to be President? If the latter is true, which I'm not criticizing by the way, then the other 2 are fine as well.

Also I used to sell flooring to builders for a living so I am qualified to comment on the integrity of people that make their career in that industry. Weasel is a very nice thing to call someone from that profession. Most of them are outright liars, cons, and cheats.

Also I voted for Trump and I'm a Republican so your lib detection system is broken. You need to calm down, take a deep breathe, and go get it checked out.

Also also, stating things like Obama is from Kenya makes smart people ignore you.

1. I never accused you of being a lib
2. Obama's Kenyan ties make him the butt of this continuing joke. Not sure where you've been for the last 12 years
3. I never questioned your competence or qualifications... nor do I care
4. Calm down? Lol... you don't know me at all... and I'm waaaay too old to care about an internet discussion
5. I couldn't care less who "ignores" me

I can say with a fair bit of certainty that the approach would work from a physics point of view. There are numerous ways this could be disastrous from a biome perspective though. we'd need to be damn near desperate as a species if we tried this.

Gates is smarter in many areas beyond his field (business and computer science). we have had overlapping interactions on fields are new to both of us. i'm pretty impressed with him. same cannot be said for many other public figures in the tech space.

Obama would never lie. Except in his own book where he said he was from Kenya. In know truth is hard for some of you, but it's right there in the boiler plate. Now, he either lied when he wrote the book, but then you have to ask yourself why. Or he lied after he wrote the book so he could be President. Also liars in the Obama birth is his own grandmother.

But sure, a badly photoshopped bc is proof enough for most people.

Uh I would say that’s the wrong answer. For the life of me I don’t understand the objections to renewable energy. Someday perhaps still hundreds of years away the planet will run out of oil, gas, and coal, but the wind always blows, water always flows, and the sun always shines somewhere unless Bill blots it out with chalk dust I guess.

I think the chalk idea falls under the category of: "just because you can, doesn't mean you should."

Photovoltaics are now cheap enough to make sense, and batteries are good enough to be practical. China led most of the way on the former.
