Jk.....hope he's doing well.I’ve never hated Bill Self. He seems like a decent dude. I mean…he’s a cheater but I think that just makes him normal in that profession.

Self has always been one of my favs. No BS and a consistent winner. I know he catches some grief for tourney losses, but man it’s not easy doing what he’s done. He has had great success at ORU, Tulsa, Illinois, and Kansas. Has rarely had a “down” year. He was crushing the BXII when they were on of, if not the best conference in the nation. Hope he gets well soon.

My advice to Bill Self, take your millions and relax the rest of your life. You don't have anything to prove. Enjoy the rest of your days on earth.
And be thankful the problem was found before you suffered a massive heart attack.

Yeah, this is his 2nd or 3rd heart-related issue now in the last few years.
Have to imagine this is another big wake-up call. This and the increased pressure from the KU fanbase has to have him thinking about retirement.
Yep. That is what impresses me the most about his run at KU

Those are the seeds of his KU teams. That is a crazy level of consistency. I mean in an 11 year stretch, TEN times they were a 1 or 2 seed.
To me, that was always the difference between him and say.......Cal........who very much has had great teams but also down years.
If I were him I'd retire. Enjoy the rest of your life with your family and friends. Relax.
I can see retirement in Self’s near future. Is he shady, Absolutely, but I’ve never really disliked him. Prayers for him.
