I'm a cheap b@$tard.....so, I'll wait for it (and Red Dead Redemp) to come down in price and hit the local Gamestop......or internet equivalent.

Great to hear that it's awesome. I've always enjoyed their campaigns. Their online generally has been crap.

I like the multiplayer on it.

I’m sure it’s fine.....I just favor more realistic situations. (Please note that I haven’t played COD online in a while, so if it’s changed let me know). I’ve always favored Battlefield online over COD online.

Battlefield
-20 guys who have to complete a mission on a field that’s the size of 500 acres
-you get massive bonuses for working as a team
-vehicles are very important
-nobody is really safe.....you might think you are then someone calls in an air strike to blow up the building you’re in
-snipers are utilized the way snipers should be......laying camouflaged from a distance
-a players body count throughout a game might be.....17 killed, 8 deaths.

COD
-900 guys in a playing area the size of a basketball arena.
-walls are impenetrable....just about anything is really
-no vehicles
-snipers are not really snipers....they’re just marksmen
-players sit by spawn points and rack up kill after kill
-highly predictable.....once you learn the level you spawn then run a route you know is pretty safe.....then you try to kill the guy that’s between two shipping containers.....you know he’s there....someone is always there.....that’s because he knows where the end of your safe route is and he’s racked up a bunch of kills there.
-a body count throughout a game might be 57 kills, 52 deaths.

It’s not a bad game, just a difference in preference.

Black Ops 4 doesn’t have a campaign mode

Blackout is the FPS BR dream game many have been waiting for. It succeeds in many spots where PUBG failed. It's well optimized, fast paced, and Treyarch seems to be very willing to take action on user criticism / suggestions to improve the game continuously based on the beta launch. We'll see if that holds up over time.

I really enjoy it so far.

Battlefield is definitely more realistic but I think CODs online is usually more fun.

The only thing I like better from Battlefield that I wish they would put in COD is destructible environments. I'd love to drop a building down on a camper. Force people to actually get out and play. That's about the only thing I wish COD would copy from them.

Playing BF makes me feel like I am shooting at ants trying to get kills. I am not a fan of huge maps. I'm not a fan of super small maps either (mainly because the match is over to fast). I prefer medium maps and that is what most of COD is.

I don't know if I will be getting the new COD or not yet though. Starting to get burnt out on them and not having a campaign makes me even less in a hurry to get it. Plus most of my crew pretty much stopped playing COD together. Not near as fun playing with a bunch of randoms.

I just started playing around with the Star Wars Battlefront games. Got them both for like $15 with all the map packs on XBox Live a few weeks ago. By the way, they have Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 in a bundle right now with with all of the dlc I believe for $12. Might get those just to play around with. If I don't like them then I am out very little money.
