Let’s hope they show up, I don’t see why they wouldn’t. I mean I guess the teams overall health may give some pause but I guarantee if they make it out of this region they will crush Indianapolis.
I’m at the team hotel. There are barely any fans here. Hotel has 209 rooms and at check in they said they still have over 100 vacant rooms.
Ughhh that’s not good. Oh well I hope we play well. We have flamed out with packed crowds plenty recently.

Lots of money spent in the SEC tourney. Many fans are gambling and saving their money for Sunday
Fans might be holding out to see if we make it to Indy next weekend. If we get that far I would expect Indy to be flooded with blue.
Ugh. I know money is tight for a lot of folks but even with Pope’s gas money offer this is sad.

I believe it, and am not surprised. I suspect a lot of folks are waiting to go to Indy next weekend. Illinois has a pretty rabid fan base and Chicago is less than 90 minutes from Chicago (which is where, obviously, a ton of Illini fans/grads live). I think there’ll be a ton of orange and blue. Really hoping that either Xavier beats Illinois or that Illinois continues its Jekyll and Hyde stuff……

He literally goes to almost every NCAA tournament game. What makes you think he can’t tell the number of fans around town and the venue? Seems like his eye would be pretty good.
Most Kentucky fans can easily drive to the SECT location. Not so easy for a nationwide tournament. Plus it's much easier to plan out with much more time. It's a simple matter of logistics.

UK and our fans get NOTHING from the SEC anymore, so WHY spend ALL of that money to go to Nashville when the team REALLY needs our support in the NCAA Tournament???

Milwaukee is not close. It's not across the country, but it's not the next state over either. It's a long *** way to drive to plop down 400 dollars down for nose bleed seats. Iowa State and Illinois fans want to see game as well.

That will be a tough matchup, if they win and we do too, with the crowd they'll bring Sunday. All of the Illinois fans will be cheering against UK tonight too.
A friend of mine just texted from a bar close to the arena. Said it was packed with UK fans for what it's worth.
We need to start winning and make it past the first weekend. In the past, fans were saving money for the second weekend. I think we get the monkey off our back this time and we are playing next weekend.
Most of those fans aren’t going to Milwaukee. There are a ton of regional fans especially around nashville. Some Lexington folks go because it’s close and it has a beginning and end in the same weekend.

To Milwaukee? I had only been guessing, but I looked it up and it's 7 hours if you go straight through.
